Josh Lawler (President)
Josh
graduated with both a B.A and B.S. from Duke University, and then
graduated with honors from Northwestern University School of Law.
After graduating from law school, Josh went on to work as a corporate
attorney in the Los Angeles office of the international law firm Skadden,
Arps, Slate, Meaghar & Flom LLP, named one of the top 10 most prestigious
law firms in the country by the Insider’s Guide to Law Firms, and
considered by many to be the most successful and powerful law firm in the
world. At Skadden, Josh worked on varied high-stakes matters, such as a
$100 million high yield note deal to finance the expansion of the Hard
Rock Hotel, and on Initial Public Offerings for leading investment banking
firm Merrill Lynch & Co, Inc. More recently, Josh was the primary producer
on Legaci Picture’s first production
Little Athens. At Legaci Pictures, Josh focuses on financing,
production, and the management of the day-to-day operations of the
company. Josh is also a partner in the entertainment law firm
Zuber
& Taillieu LLP.
Matt Lendach
(Writer/Development/Director of Publicity)
Matt is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at
Greensboro. His first producing effort was
Lansdown. In connection with his work on Lansdown, Matt
has been interviewed by such prestigious media as CNN Headline News,
The Boston Herald and The Newark Star-Ledger, amongst others. More recently,
Matt executive produced
Little Athens.
Matt
just completed the character driven thriller Found with
Legaci Pictures writing partner Tom Zuber. The
original screenplay revolves around a
ransom item of extraordinary importance, and its impact on those who
pursue it. At Legaci Pictures, Matt
is involved in multiple aspects of the filmmaking process, with his focus
centering on writing, development, and publicity.
Olivier
Taillieu (Director of Business & Legal Affairs)
Olivier
graduated with highest honors from Arizona State University, and
graduated #1 in his class at The George Washington University School of
Law, where he was a member of the highly prestigious legal honor society
Order of the Coif, and where he was Managing Editor of The George
Washington Law Review. After graduating from law school, Olivier clerked
for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the highest federal court in
California, and one the most prestigious and sought-after clerkships in
the country. He then entered private practice as an attorney in the Los
Angeles office of the international law firm O’Melveny & Myers LLP, named
one of the top 25 most prestigious law firms in the country by the
Insider’s Guide to Law Firms. At Legaci Pictures, Olivier will focus on
the financing of motion pictures, and on the general business and legal
affairs of the company. Olivier is also a founding partner in the
entertainment law firm
Zuber
& Taillieu LLP.
Dave Thatch
(Consultant)
Dave graduated with highest honors from Rutgers
University and then attended Rutgers Law School, where he was named a
Tischler Scholar, the distinction awarded to the top ranked student of
each law school class. After graduating from law school, Dave went on to
work as a corporate attorney in the New York City office of the
international law firm White & Case LLP, named one of the top 25 most
prestigious law firms in the country by the Insider’s Guide to Law Firms.

Jeff Zuber
(Writer)
Jeff is a
graduate of Rutgers University and Indiana Law School. Post degree, Jeff
practiced law in the Commercial Litigation Department of the esteemed Cooper, Rose & English, LLP. Jeff produced
Lansdown, and co-wrote
Little Athens. At Legaci Pictures, Jeff focuses primarily on
writing, and is currently working on a futuristic science fiction
action-thriller. Jeff is also a founding partner in the entertainment law
firm
Zuber & Taillieu LLP.
Tom Zuber
(Chairperson)
Tom graduated with
highest honors from
Rutgers
University, and holds graduate degrees from both Columbia University and
Harvard University. Tom wrote and directed his first film,
Lansdown, while working as an
attorney at the New York City office of the international law firm White &
Case LLP, one of the 20 most prestigious law firms in the country as
ranked by The American Lawyer. Made
by a mostly first-time cast and crew on a shoestring budget of less than
$50,000, Lansdown
won the Best First Feature Award at the Cinequest
Film Festival and resulted in the
Daily Variety earmarking Tom as “a talent to watch.” After
completing
Lansdown, Tom moved to Los Angeles, where he practiced
law at the international law firm O’Melveny & Myers LLP, also one of the
20 most prestigious law firms in the country, before leaving to co-write
and direct his second film
Little Athens, an Official Selection of the 2005
Toronto International Film Festival. At
Legaci Pictures, Tom focuses on writing and
directing, and on producing projects for other directors. Tom is also a
founding partner in the entertainment law firm
Zuber & Taillieu LLP.
