Upcoming Productions of Legaci
Pictures
Legaci
Pictures' first production, Little
Athens, follows a whirlwind day in the hapless lives of small
town youth caught in a dead-end post-high school void. The journeys of
four groups of late teens/early twenty-somethings
unfold through four different storylines, their separate trails converging
at an explosive house party. Little
Athens boasts the hottest ensemble of Generation-Y stars yet
assembled in a single independent film, including John Patrick
Amedori (The
Butterfly Effect), Jorge Garcia (TV’s
Lost), Shawn
Hatosy (Alpha
Dog), Michelle Horn (Hostage),
Tory Kittles (Get Rich or Die
Tryin’), Erica
Leerhsen (The
Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Rachel Miner (Bully),
Kenny Morrison (NeverEnding
Story II), Leonardo Nam (The
Perfect Score), Michael Pena (Crash),
DJ Qualls (Hustle & Flow),
Jill Ritchie (D.E.B.S.),
and Eric Szmanda
(TV’s CSI).
Little Athens
also boasts a red hot soundtrack, which includes classics like
Let Down
by Radiohead, and soon-to-be classics
by today’s most exciting new bands, including The
Plebz, Poets and Pornstars, and The
Walkmen.
Little Athens, an Official Selection of the 2005
Toronto International Film Festival., was picked up
for distribution by a major independent film distributor, which
distributor will issue a formal press release later on this year. For more

Legaci
Pictures currently has the following projects in development:
Found
(written by Matt Lendach & Tom Zuber):
A
character-driven thriller
revolving around a ransom
item of extraordinary importance, and its impact on the people who
pursue it.
Found will be directed by Tom
Zuber.
Up
(written by David J. Mesman): A darkly comedic modern-day fairytale,
except that our prince charming, Aidan, is a teenage subway spray paint
artist, and our princess, Sameena, is a washed up teen idol now under the
thumb of her dangerous cocaine dealing boyfriend. Aidan’s dreams of
escaping to Paris with Sameena are out of reach until he witnesses two
murderous police detectives hide a king’s ransom in jewels in the
underground tunnels he frequents. Aidan’s efforts to obtain the jewels
while rescuing Sameena from the clutches of her drug-dealing boyfriend
forces him to confront not
only the two detectives, but also the inner demons that have been holding
him back all along. Up
could be described as a cross between “True
Romance” and “Amélie.”
Up’s director is TBD.
